This Project Involved:
- Placement of 150 lm of floating silt curtain to isolate the site.
- Removal of all internal columns and temporary underpinning of the building, including all required structural cross bracing.
- Removal and off-site disposal of ~2000 creosote piles.
- Removal and off-site disposal of contaminated soil.
- Placement and compaction of ~45,000 MT of aggregate within a sheet pile enclosed area in the Fraser River.
- Installation of 150 lm up up-land sheet pile wall in the warehouse and anchors to stabilize the exterior sheet pile wall.
- Forming, re-bar installation and placement of concrete for 45 new column foundations and exterior wall spread footings.
- Placement and field fitting of new steel internal columns.
- Installation of new roof drains, catch basins, and floor drains including connection of the sanitary sewer system.
- Placement of 9000 M2 of concrete floor.
